Chia Pancakes

The perfect chia pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 90 g Flour
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 0,5 tsp Mild curry powder
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • Salt
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 350 g Tomatoes
  • 1 Shallot
  • 3 Stems Parsley
  • Sugar
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • 4 Discs Raw ham
  1. Mix the flour, chia seeds, curry powder, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Gradually stir in the milk and egg. Let soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large non-stick pan. Put half of the batter into the pan and fry on both sides until golden on both sides. Fry the rest of the batter as well.
  3. There are no pictures for the tomato salad. Clean the tomatoes and remove the stalks. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Finely dice the shallot. Roughly chop the parsley leaves. Put everything in a bowl and season with salt, 1 pinch of sugar, pepper and vinegar. Add 3 tablespoons of oil and mix everything carefully.
  4. Serve the pancakes with tomato salad and ham.
