Chia Seed Quark Buns

The perfect chia seed quark buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 30 g Butter
  • 250 g Quark
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon Milk 3.5%
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool
  2. Mix the quark, egg, salt and butter, mix the flour with the baking powder and sift over the quark mixture, add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds and knead everything well.
  3. Finally, knead the dough with your hands, shape it into a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes
  4. Now shape into a roll, cut into 6 equal pieces into rolls.
