Chicken breast fillet in spinach and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • salt and pepper
  • curry
  • 2 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 100 ml broth
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 g creamed spinach
  • 3 dashes lemon juice
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder, hot and sweet
  • Garam Masala
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Rub the meat with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Heat the oil in a pan, sear the meat on each side for about 3 minutes, and then transfer to a casserole dish. Dice the onion and sear. Deglaze with wine and stock. Let it simmer briefly. Stir in the spinach. Add the lemon juice and crushed garlic, and season with the spices. Stir in the sour cream and cheese. Let it melt slightly. Pour the mixture over the meat in the casserole dish. Cook in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 25 minutes. Pasta goes very well with this.
