Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large pork or turkey schnitzels
  • 2 bunch spring onions
  • 1 feta cheese
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • Fresh herbs (oregano, parsley, basil)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Lightly fry the schnitzels in a pan on one side only, then top with finely chopped spring onions and herbs. Turn the schnitzels over and season with salt and pepper. Place the sliced ​​tomatoes on top of each schnitzel and finish with the sliced ​​feta. Cover and simmer gently for a good 15 minutes. If you like, you can make a sauce from the resulting liquid (top up with a little broth and add condensed milk). It tastes very good without the sauce, though.
