Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 toastie(s)
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 2 slices of cooked poultry ham
  • 6 slice(s) of salami (poultry salami), approx. 5 g each
  • 2 slices of mildly spicy mountain cheese
  • 2 tsp, heaped Parmesan, grated
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • some clarified butter
  • n. B. Salt and pepper, white, finely ground
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • e.g. Worcestershire sauce
  • e.g. lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion, slice it thinly, and brown it lightly in a greased pan. Then remove the onions from the pan without any fat, cover, and set aside. Brown the two toastie halves on both sides in the frying fat, then add them to the onion rings. Wash the chicken breast, cut it lengthwise, pat it dry with kitchen paper, and fry in a greased pan until cooked through. Place the toastie slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, top with the chicken breast, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Top with half of the onion rings, then add the salami, ham, and cheese slices one after the other. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C using the grill function, directly under the grill, until the cheese begins to melt. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake briefly again. Before serving, place the remaining onion rings on the toasties. Serve with Worcestershire sauce and freshly squeezed lemon juice for seasoning, if desired.
