Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 burger buns (XXL)
- 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 can pineapple pieces
- 4 slices of cheese
- hamburger sauce
- fried onions
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Remove any fat and tendons from the chicken breast fillets. Place them in a freezer bag and flatten the meat using a meat mallet. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the pineapple pieces well. Briefly sear the chicken breast fillets on both sides. Then top with pineapple and cheese slices and bake for 10 minutes at 150°C fan-assisted oven. Then let them cool slightly, otherwise the pineapple will be too hot to eat. Place the burger buns (preferably pre-cut) in the oven for 7 minutes at 150°C fan-assisted oven. Then spread the bottom half of the burger buns with hamburger sauce and top with some fried onions. Place the baked chicken breast with pineapple and cheese on top. Place the top half of the bun on top and enjoy!
