Chicken Leg in Tomato Sauce

The perfect chicken leg in tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Chicken leg
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 3 Pc. Garlic
  • 2 Can Canned tomatoes chopped
  • 0,25 liter White wine dry
  • 2 teaspoon Herbs of Provence
  • 0,25 liter Granulated poultry broth
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • Salt pepper
  • Cold pressed olive oil
  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Wash the chicken drumsticks, dry them and cut them in half
  3. Put oil in a pan and let it get hot, fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and place in a prepared saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic in a hot pan, add the tomatoes, the wine and the chicken stock, dust with the rice flour and bring to the boil. Add the herbs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the chicken legs and simmer on a low fire for about 20 minutes.
