Spinach – Pizza

dough

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 Pck. Dry yeast
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Sugar, water about 100ml

Topping

  • 300 g Steamed or frozen spinach leaves
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Toes Garlic
  • 60 g Feta
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • 50 g Flaked almonds
  1. Dough: Mix the flour with the dry yeast, a pinch of sugar and the salt, slowly whisk in some water with your fingers and then knead. The dough should be nice and smooth and not stick to your fingers or work surface (add a little flour if necessary). Put the dough in a bowl and cover, let rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes (oven at 50 ° or on the heating)
  2. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté (butter or oil), add the spinach, sauté briefly and season (salt, pepper, pinch of sugar, nutmeg).
  3. Preheat the oven to 220 °
  4. When the dough is about twice its size, knead it well again and divide it into two portions, roll them out into “circles” of approx. 24 cm, place on a tray and spread thinly with cream cheese. Spread the spinach on top. Sprinkle a few cubes of feta on top and a few dollop of cream cheese with flaked almonds.
  5. Bake in the oven and at 220 ° for about 25 – 30 minutes (almonds and feta should have a nice golden brown color)
