Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary
  • 1 sprig(s) of thyme
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Water
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the chicken with cold water and dry with kitchen paper. Season inside and out with pepper and salt. Sprinkle all the paprika powder inside. Add the garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Place the prepared chicken on a bottle half-filled with water, place it on a drip tray, and cook in the oven at 200°C for about 1 hour (no need to add more water). Remove the meat juices from the drip tray with water. Season the resulting sauce again and stir in cold butter until smooth. Serve with mixed vegetables and caraway potatoes.
