Chicken – Plums – Skewers

The perfect chicken – plums – skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 6 tbsp Sherry medium
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 0,5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • 200 g Prunes
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 1 bunch Spring onions
  • 12 Long Wooden skewers
  • Oil
  1. Wash the meat with cold water, pat dry and cut into 3cm cubes.
  2. Mix the sherry, honey, salt and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  3. Press the garlic.
  4. Add the chicken, turn in the marinade and cover and chill.
  5. Cut the strips of bacon in half crosswise and wrap each plum with it.
  6. Wash the spring onions and cut about 3cm long pieces from the white and light green part.
  7. Oil the wooden skewers.
  8. Remove the meat from the marinade and dab with paper towel (save the marinade)
  9. Put 3 meat cubes, 2 bacon plums and 2 spring onion pieces alternately on the skewers.
  10. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the skewers in portions on each side.
  11. After turning each, drizzle with a little sherry marinade,
  12. Arrange cool on a platter.
