  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 can of tuna, natural
  • 100 Sour cream
  • 4 tsp capers
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

Wash the chicken breast fillets and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper, and sear in a pan in hot oil for about 8 minutes on each side. The meat must be cooked through. Allow to cool completely. Drain the tuna. Puree with sour cream, capers, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Thinly slice the breast fillets, cover with the tuna sauce, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Sprinkle with capers, if desired. Pollo Tonnato is perfect for an appetizer buffet—it’s also a hit at brunch. It’s easy to make ahead: simply cook the meat and store it in the refrigerator separately from the sauce. Slice and marinate only one hour before use.
