Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 20 chicken wings, fresh or thawed
- 200 ml sauce (“Louisiana” wing sauce)
- 200 g butter
- 100 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp black pepper

For the breading, mix the flour, pepper, and salt thoroughly in a bowl. Rub the thawed or fresh wings thoroughly with the flour and refrigerate for at least one hour. Repeat the process and refrigerate the wings for another hour. Preheat the deep fryer to 190°C (375°F), and coat the wings one last time just before frying. This is important for the breading to be really crispy! Cook the wings in batches (12-14 minutes), depending on the size of the fryer. In a small saucepan, heat the “Louisiana” wing sauce with the butter (use only 100g if you like it very spicy). Brush the cooked wings all over with it. Then just enjoy. We serve it with fries. This recipe was translated from the American version by me after extensive internet research, and my entire family praised it as a perfect copy of “Hooters” chicken wings!
