Chicken with Philadelphia and lemon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g chicken fillet(s)
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese, e.g. Philadelphia
  • 2 tsp basil
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some oil or margarine
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

easy and quick to prepare

Cut the chicken fillets into pieces of any size. Slice the lemon. Heat the fat in a pan. Fry the chicken until almost cooked through. Then add the lemon slices, basil, salt, and pepper and continue frying. Then add the Philadelphia cream cheese. If it seems too thick, add a little more water. Simmer over low heat until everything is well blended. I removed the lemon slices one by one because only the peel was left and they no longer looked nice. They had already served their purpose. In the meantime, you can cook rice and vegetables, for example.
