Chicory salad with sugar and lemon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicory
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 40 g raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Soak the raisins in water. Peel the chicory leaves, removing the stems if necessary, halve them lengthwise, and cut into approximately 1 cm wide strips. Place the chicory and soaked raisins in a bowl. Add the juice of half a lemon and mix everything. Sweeten with sugar (amount to taste).
