Chili Cheese Fries
The perfect chili cheese fries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Chilli con carne:
- 500 g Ground beef
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 Carrot
- 2 Pointed peppers
- 2 Onions
- 1 pole Celery
- 3 tsp Smoked chili paste
- 2 Cans Chopped tomatoes
- 1 Can Canned kidney beans
- Olive oil
- 1 tsp Freshly ground caraway seeds
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
- 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
- 1 tsp Brown sugar
- Finely chopped coriander
In addition:
- 100 g Cheddar cheese
- 200 g Sour cream
- Telly cherry pepper
- 1 kg French fries
Chilli con carne:
- Wash the onions, garlic, celery, carrots and peppers, finely chop and sweat in olive oil in a large saucepan for 8-10 minutes. Add the chilli paste, caraway seeds and cinnamon. Add tomatoes, kidney beans and finely chopped coriander.
- Brown the minced meat in another pan and add to the other ingredients. Season to taste with garlic pepper, seasoned salt and sugar.
- Do not cover the pot completely with a lid and simmer on a low heat for about 1 hour. The longer desdo the better !!!!
- Prepare french fries according to the packaging instructions! With me from the Acty Fry! Preheat the oven to baked!
- Divide the fries into 4 bowls! Spread the chilli con carne over the fries, then top with the sour cream and cheese! Put it in the oven until the cheese has melted! Finally, pour a little pepper and coriander over it!
- Serve!
