Chili Con Carne Ala Texicana

The perfect chili con carne ala texicana recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Minced meat
  • 1 Can Red beans
  • 1 Can Corn
  • 2 piece Onions
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 Can Peeled tomatoes large
  • 1 tbsp Beef bouillon
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 Tl Oregano
  • 1 pinch Cumin
  • 1 bottle Texicana Salsa sauce approx 500ml
  • 1 bag Maggi fix chilli
  • 1 Water
  1. Fry the onions and garlic in oil until golden. Then add tomato paste, roast everything and add a pinch of sugar. After 2 minutes add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Then add canned tomatoes, oregano and water. Water until everything is covered. Then add beef bouillon and Maggi fix according to the instructions on the package, then simmer for 15 minutes. Then add the spices and try it! Possibly add a little water as needed. Finally add the beans and corn and let it steep for 10 minutes, do not let the bubbling boil any more! If you like, you can add Tabasco! Serve with fresh baguette …
