Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 pack of mixed bell peppers
- 1 liter of water
- 1 can chili beans
- 1 can green beans
- 1 small can of corn
- 2 packs of Knorr Naturally Delicious Chili con Carne (seasoning base)
- e.g. salt and pepper
- e.g. Paprika powder, sweet and hot
- e.g. chili powder
- e.g. cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
with spice base
First, brown the minced meat in olive oil in a pan and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then add the diced bell pepper mix and fry for a bit. Then add the water and cook until the peppers are soft. Now add the chili beans, green beans, and corn. Stir well and simmer for about 15 minutes. Finally, add the seasoning base, season with chili and cayenne pepper, stir well, and simmer for a few more minutes. If the chili is a bit too thick, you can add a little more water. Season to taste, too. Chili is a bit of a tricky thing. Some people like it really hot, while others prefer it milder. We served it with a fresh bread roll. But potatoes, pasta, rice, etc. would also certainly go well with it.
