Fiery cookies for chili lovers

Halve and deseed fresh chili peppers (wear rubber gloves!). Grind the chili peppers and sugar in a blender until you have a very fine sugar dusting (careful – it’s hot!). Cream the butter until light and fluffy, then stir in the chili sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Finely grate the chocolate and stir in. Finally, add the flour and spoon small heaps onto the baking sheet lined with baking paper (leaving enough space between each one as the batter will spread a little). Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 10-15 minutes. Tip: Instead of fresh chili peppers, you can also use dried chili peppers, use wholemeal flour, or stir in extra chocolate chips at the end.
