Flavoring salts

Grind 3 dried red chili peppers with 150g sea salt and 30g pepper in a blender or mortar. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve. Goes well with fried and grilled fish and meat, meat stews and fried potatoes. Tips: It works best if you first blend the chili peppers with the pepper. Only then add the sea salt and mix briefly. This creates a lovely blend of red and white. It also works with all other herbs, for example the Italian style with oregano and marjoram or as garlic/wild garlic salt. There are almost no limits to your imagination. Herbs and flavourings such as ginger, citrus fruits and even vanilla or cinnamon can be combined in any way you like. Important: The mixture tastes best with fresh herbs.
