Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g beef fillet(s)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp broth
- 2 tbsp medium sherry
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Cut the beef fillet into finger-length, pencil-thick strips. Crush the garlic cloves, mix with sugar, soy sauce, broth, and sherry, add the meat, and let it simmer for 60 minutes. Remove the meat and drain. Heat the oil and fry the meat for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the remaining marinade and braise for another minute. Side dish: Risotto
