Chinese sesame sauce for cold noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp sesame paste
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar, neutral
  • 2 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 2 tbsp garlic, pressed
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 500 g Chinese egg noodles
  • 1 cucumber(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix all the ingredients (from sesame paste to water) together and you’re done. This sauce is perfect for a warm summer. First, cook the Chinese noodles, then rinse them. Slice the cucumbers into strips. Place the noodles in a bowl, then the cucumber strips, and finally, top with the sauce. You don’t need to add salt since you’re already using soy sauce.
