Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 red bell pepper(s), diced
- 300 g diced chicken breast fillet(s) or turkey meat
- 200 g cooked prawns
- 2 large onions, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- Spice mix (Chinese spice)
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cook the spaghetti, drain, toss with 1 tablespoon of oil, and set aside. Mix the soy sauce with the sugar, sambal oelek, lemon juice, and seasonings, and set aside. Heat the remaining oil in a wok, add the meat and shrimp, and fry for about 2 minutes. Add the diced bell peppers, onion, and garlic and fry over high heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the noodles and mix well. Pour in the reserved soy sauce mix, mix everything well, and heat until hot. Then serve quickly. You can also increase the amount of soy sauce; if it becomes too dry, simply add another splash to the finished dish. It also tastes great with broccoli; simply stir-fry it with the vegetables. If you don’t have a wok, you can use a saucepan; a shallow pan is not ideal.
