Knead all ingredients together and then roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 0.5–1 cm. A little flour on the work surface prevents the dough from sticking. Now, using a knife, cut the dough into typical French fry strips and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 170°C (convection oven, top/bottom heat: 200°C) for about 10 minutes, until the “fries” are lightly browned. After the “fries” have cooled (or even before), serve with a little red jam as “ketchup.”
