Chive and mustard butter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, room temperature
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

The butter should be nice and soft. Place it in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Press the garlic and add it, then add the mustard and lemon juice and mix well. Finally, finely chop the washed chives and mix in. Wrap the chive and mustard butter in cling film and shape into a roll. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Cut into slices to serve.
