Chocolate Almond Brownies
The perfect chocolate almond brownies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Block chocolate
- 250 g Butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 5 tbsp Water
- 200 g Almonds (whole)
- 200 g White couverture
- 250 g Spelt flour type 630
- 100 g Almonds
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- Oil
- Powdered sugar
- Break the chocolate block into pieces and melt in a water bath. Roughly chop whole almonds and roast them with the almond slivers in a pan without fat.
- Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and water until frothy. Gradually stir in the eggs and add melted chocolate. Mix everything well!

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees!
- Roughly chop the white couverture. Mix flour with baking powder. Then fold the couverture, almonds, flour / baking powder mixture and cinnamon into the chocolate / egg mixture!
- Line a deep baking sheet or brownie pan with parchment paper and grease the edge!
- Put the dough in the baking sheet and spread evenly!
- Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes! Then let it cool down a bit, then take it out of the mold and let it cool down! If you like, sprinkle the brownies with powdered sugar!
