Swedish chocolate confectionery

Mix the dry ingredients (oats, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cocoa) in a bowl. Add the butter and liquid and knead everything together, preferably by hand, until smooth. Using two teaspoons or by hand, form small balls (approx. 2 cm in diameter), roll in coconut flakes or sugar powder, and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour. Tip: The chocolate balls taste best after a few days, eaten at room temperature. In Sweden, they are mainly eaten at Christmas, but those with a sweet tooth enjoy them year-round.
