Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter
- 150 g dark chocolate (64%)
- 150 g sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp cherry brandy
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 egg whites
- 50 g almonds, ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Simple chocolate cake that tastes good straight from the freezer
Line the bottom and sides of a 24cm springform pan with baking paper. Melt the butter and chocolate in a pan and mix. Turn off the heat. Stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, kirsch, and flour. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in with a rubber spatula. Add the almonds and fold in. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (150°C fan-assisted oven) for 30 minutes. The cake should still be moist inside! Tip: Freeze in slices for quick enjoyment.
