Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 ½ cup(s) cocoa powder, slightly defatted
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 jar applesauce, approx. 300 g
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients one after the other in a bowl and pour into a greased Bundt cake pan. Bake the cake on the middle rack at 180°C (approx. 170°C fan-assisted) for 45 minutes. Let the cake cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar. The finished cake will be moist, so don’t wait for the wooden skewer to dry completely when testing. Use icing or chocolate glaze instead of powdered sugar.
