8 large chocolate cookies with cream cheese surprise filling
For the filling, mix together the cream cheese and sugar. Stir in the flour and melted butter. Cover the filling and chill for 30 minutes. For the dough, mix the flour, baking powder, and cocoa. In a bowl, mix the margarine, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Stir in the egg, then add the flour mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate shavings. Using a tablespoon, scoop out about 16 equal-sized balls of dough and flatten half of them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place 4 cookies on each of two baking sheets. Then spread about 1 heaped teaspoon of cream cheese mixture on each cookie and flatten them slightly. Now flatten the other dough balls slightly with your hand, place them on the cheese-covered cookies, and press the edges together to prevent the cream cheese from oozing out. Flatten the large cookie again as much as possible and press the edges into a nice circle. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for about 12 minutes. Then let cool.
