Chocolate-cherry shells

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g wheat flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 ml milk
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate shavings
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • 2 tbsp milk for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Makes 25: Preheat oven to 160°C (fan oven) Combine flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and stir with a dough hook until well blended. Roll out the dough and cut out circles (approx. 7cm in diameter). Fill the circles with the filling (chocolate and cherries), fold them over, and press the open edges together with the tip of a fork. Place the chocolate-cherry shells on floured baking paper on a baking tray and brush them with the egg yolk and milk mixture. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Apple pieces can also be used instead of cherries.
