Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 240 g flour
  • 75 g sugar, brown
  • 75 g sugar, white
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 160 ml milk
  • 115 g butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavor
  • 200 g chocolate (milk chocolate chips)
  • possibly nuts, chopped, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For 12 muffins with chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar (white and brown), baking powder, and salt. In a second bowl, combine the milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract. Make a well in the flour-sugar mixture, add the milk mixture, and mix. Add the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes (test with a toothpick). Leave in the tin for another 5 minutes after baking, then remove and let cool completely. Tip: Use the batter immediately so the chocolate chips don’t sink to the bottom. If desired, you can also add chopped nuts.
