Chocolate Crossies 1887
The perfect chocolate crossies 1887 recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Cornflakes
- 500 gr Dark chocolate
- 300 gr Milk chocolate
- 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
- 100 gr Sliced almonds
- 150 gr Butter
- Break the chocolate and place in a large bowl.
- Heat water in a saucepan and place the bowl on top. The bottom of the bowl should not come into contact with the water. The water must not boil, if it does, remove the pan from the stove.
- Let the chocolate melt while stirring.
- Scatter in the vanilla sugar and stir.
- Add the cold butter to the chocolate in cubes and stir in.
- In between, put the sliced almond in a small bowl and mash it with your hands.
- Put the almonds in a pan and fry them lightly.
- When you have stirred the chocolate until smooth, add the cornflakes and the roasted almonds and fold them in. Fold in until the cornflakes and almonds are coated with chocolate.
- Now use a teaspoon to portion the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. You have a free hand with the size of the chocolate crossies.
