Nadine’s Chocolate Crossies

The perfect nadine’s chocolate crossies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Couverture white
  • 60 g Kölln cereal wholegrain oatmeal crispy chocolate
  • 25 g Chopped pistachios
  • 35 g Chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla sugar
  • Small paper cases [praline cases], approx. 35 pieces
  1. Crush the couverture and melt it in a water bath
  1. Roast the pistachios and almonds with the vanilla sugar and let them caramelize
  1. Add the roasted pistachio and almond mixture with the oat flakes to the melted couverture and stir everything together.
  1. Pour the crossie mixture into the paper cases and leave to cool for several hours so that the couverture solidifies again.
  1. Tip 5: Also tastes great with whole milk couverture and natural oat flakes (without chocolate flavor).
