Nadine’s Chocolate Crossies
The perfect nadine’s chocolate crossies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Couverture white
- 60 g Kölln cereal wholegrain oatmeal crispy chocolate
- 25 g Chopped pistachios
- 35 g Chopped almonds
- 2 tbsp Vanilla sugar
- Small paper cases [praline cases], approx. 35 pieces
- Crush the couverture and melt it in a water bath
- Roast the pistachios and almonds with the vanilla sugar and let them caramelize
- Add the roasted pistachio and almond mixture with the oat flakes to the melted couverture and stir everything together.
- Pour the crossie mixture into the paper cases and leave to cool for several hours so that the couverture solidifies again.
- Tip 5: Also tastes great with whole milk couverture and natural oat flakes (without chocolate flavor).
