Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 100 g spelt flour type 630
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 100 g almonds, ground
  • ½ pack of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks, sugar, and softened butter. Mix the flour, baking powder, ground almonds, and chocolate sprinkles with the egg yolk and sugar mixture. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the batter into a 20 cm (8-inch) loaf pan lined with baking paper. Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes (test with a toothpick).
