Chocolate Cupcakes with Creamy Chocolate Topping

The perfect chocolate cupcakes with creamy chocolate topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

dough

  • 250 g Sifted flour
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 180 ml Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder (if you want)

Topping

  • 400 g Liquid cream
  • 100 g Milk chocolate
  • 100 g Dark chocolate

Topping

  1. First, bring the cream to the boil with the chocolate. Put in the fridge to cool.

  1. Beat the butter with sugar until frothy. Add eggs. Mix flour with baking powder and possibly with cocoa powder and fold into the butter mixture (you can also leave out the cocoa powder, then you have a light-colored muffin). Add milk and eggs and mix everything together well. Fill the dough into 12 muffin cases and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
  2. Topping with a piping bag, palette or spoon on the cooled cake orders and decorate with sprinkles, rasps and pearls.
