Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp water, hot
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 9 pieces of chocolate kisses
  • 500 g quark
  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For the sponge cake, beat the eggs with sugar and hot water until frothy. Carefully fold in the flour and baking powder. Bake in a springform pan for about 15 minutes at 175°C. If you need to speed things up, you can also use a ready-made sponge cake from a package. For the filling, remove the wafer bases from the marshmallow kisses (save the bases). Mash the foam and chocolate coating in a bowl with a fork. Mix with the lime juice and quark. Then fold in the whipped cream and spread the mixture on the cake base (if homemade, let it cool first). Decorate the cake with the wafer bases.
