Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 230 ml water
  • 30 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 160 ml mayonnaise
  • 140 g flour
  • 60 g starch flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Chocolate mayo cake, quick and moist!

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 26 cm springform pan with baking paper or grease it. Bring the water to a boil, transfer it to a mixing bowl, and stir in the cocoa. Let it cool to room temperature, then add the mayonnaise and mix until smooth. Combine the flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking soda, and salt and stir into the cocoa mixture. Beat with a mixer for about one minute. The batter should be quite runny. Pour into the pan and bake for 30 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar or glaze, if desired.
