Chocolate mousse, super easy

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g chocolate, bitter
  • 200 g sweet cream
  • Cognac or rum
  • Cinnamon, if desired
  • whipped cream, amarena cherry
  • Lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

without egg

Melt the crumbled chocolate in the liquid cream (microwave on medium heat, checking frequently and stirring). Then mix well with a whisk. Season with cinnamon and cognac or rum. Refrigerate overnight and whip the next day with a hand mixer. If it’s too thick, thin with sweet cream if desired. I pour the mousse into tea glasses and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, an amaretto cherry, and (in summer) a lemon balm leaf.
