Chocolate mousse with egg liqueur

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml egg liqueur
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating
  • 400 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces, place it in a bowl, and melt it with the egg liqueur in a double boiler. Meanwhile, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Once the chocolate has melted, fold in the cream, divide the mixture into portions, and refrigerate. After about 2 hours, the chocolate mousse is ready to serve. Garnish with fruit, if desired. Note: The mousse can also be prepared the day before.
