Light quark dish with fruits and seeds

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 250 g skimmed milk yogurt
  • e.g. vanilla sugar
  • n. B. Honey
  • 400 g fresh fruit (e.g. grapes, cherries, strawberries, honeydew melon, mango, banana)
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple and healthy

Mix the quark, yogurt, vanilla sugar, and honey together until smooth. Wash and hull the fruit, removing the seeds if necessary. Halve the strawberries, cherries, and grapes. Halve the banana lengthwise, then slice, and dice the mango. Mix the fruit pieces and seeds into the quark. Divide between 4 bowls and garnish with the fruit and seeds. Tips: If you’re not concerned about calories, you can of course use quark and yogurt with a higher fat content for this recipe; it tastes even better! Instead of vanilla sugar, you can also use ground vanilla, vanilla flavor, or vanilla extract. Instead of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, you can use roughly chopped nuts. You can also use whatever fruit you like, although I personally don’t recommend kiwi, pineapple, or grapefruit, but that’s a matter of taste, as you know.
