Chocolate Muffins with Sour Cherries
The perfect chocolate muffins with sour cherries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Dark chocolate
- 80 g Butter
- 130 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 dl Milk
- 270 g Flour
- 1,5 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 100 g Sour cherries from the glass
- Sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180 °. Put the sour cherries in a sieve and drain well.
- Crumble the chocolate and melt it together with the butter in a double boiler.
- Meanwhile, put the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs and milk in a bowl and whisk well until the mixture is lighter.
- Pour in the melted chocolate and butter and stir everything well.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda and add to the bowl. Mix everything well to form an even dough.
- Finally mix the sour cherries into the batter.
- Fill the dough into 12 stable molds approx. 7 cm in diameter. Bake in the lower half of the preheated oven for 17 minutes.
