Chocolate noodles with caramelized banana and vanilla sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 shot of rapeseed oil
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (or vanilla pudding powder)
  • 4 bananas
  • 80 g sugar
  • Mint, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine the flour, cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Whisk together the eggs and oil. Combine the ingredients and knead everything into a firm dough. Add a spoonful of water if necessary. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough, cut into noodles, and cook in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Bring to a boil in a saucepan with the milk and sugar, then add the vanilla pod. Mix the egg with a little cold milk and the cornstarch. Add to the boiling milk and thicken. Do not allow to boil any longer. Peel the bananas and cut into attractive pieces. Caramelize the sugar in a pan, add the bananas, and toss to coat. To serve: Place the noodles on a deep plate, spread the vanilla sauce and bananas over the pasta. Decorate with mint. Enjoy!
