Chocolate – Pancakes …

The perfect chocolate – pancakes … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Fresh kumquats
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Star anise
  • 75 Milliliters Sea buckthorn – nectar or orange juice
  • 30 g Milka Zartherb
  • 1 Egg
  • 50 Milliliters Milk
  • 50 Milliliters Natural carbonated mineral water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Tablespoon (level) Flour
  • Fat for frying
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Wash the kumquats, dry them and cut into thin slices. Bring to the boil together with sea buckthorn nectar, sugar and star anise. Simmer for 5 minutes on a low flame. Take it from the stove and let it cool off.
  2. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Mix the egg with milk, mineral water and salt. Add the flour and stir in. Let rest for 10 minutes. Stir in the melted chocolate.
  4. Heat the fat in a pan. Fry two pancakes one after the other.
  5. Egg cakes with kumquats – arrange the compote on two plates as you wish. Dust with powdered sugar.
