Chocolate Pancakes

The perfect chocolate pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 Cup Cocoa
  • 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  1. Beat thin butter with sugar and eggs until frothy. Add vanilla sugar and flour spoon by spoon and stir well. In between add the cup of cocoa and stir. Finally add the baking powder and stir well. Pour 2/3 of the dough into a greased baking pan or a baking pan lined with baking paper or a silicone pan that has been rinsed well with hot water. Stir in the cocoa powder under the rest of the dough and add to the baking pan. Pull through with a fork so that it mixes a little with the other dough. Place in the oven at 180 degrees for about 1 hour. The basic dough can be used to bake a lemon or raisin pancake just as well.
