Chocolate pancakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 350 ml milk
  • 50 g chocolate drops, baking-proof
  • n. B. Oil for the pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

These chocolatey pancakes taste great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 5-6.

First, mix together the flour and baking powder (baking powder makes the pancakes a little fluffier, but it’s not absolutely necessary) so that the dry ingredients are distributed better in the batter later. Mix the eggs with the salt, vanilla paste, sugar, and milk. Then add the flour mixture to the egg and milk and stir until no lumps remain. Then the pancakes are ready to cook. To do this, heat a pan, preferably a non-stick one, with a little oil over medium heat and add a ladleful of the pancake batter to the hot pan. While the batter is still cooking, quickly scatter a few of the chocolate chips over the raw mixture and add a second, thin layer of batter on top. After about a minute, the pancake can be turned over; after about 30 seconds, it will be ready on the other side and can be served. Makes 5-6 servings.
