Chocolate puff pastry cushions

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 1 small jar of Nutella
  • 1 small egg(s), beaten

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

quick little puff pastry cushions filled with Nutella

Preheat the oven to approximately 180°C (fan oven). Roll out the puff pastry and cut into approximately 5 x 5 cm squares, or whatever size you like (I experimented a bit, and I liked them best this size because they’re nice and bite-sized). Spread some Nutella on each square, fold it over, and press the edges down with a fork if necessary. Arrange the squares on a baking sheet and brush with a beaten egg. Bake in the hot oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, until nicely browned.
