Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 cube of yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 40 g butter
- 300 ml milk
- 1 pack of chocolate (chocolate drops)
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
- Flour , for the work surface
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Made from yeast dough, super fluffy, for 8 pieces
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well. Gently warm about 100 ml of the milk, add a tablespoon of sugar and dissolve the yeast in it. Then pour the yeast into the well and mix it with a small amount of the flour to form a pre-dough. Cover the pre-dough and let it rise for 20 minutes. Mix the eggs with the salt, the remaining milk and the remaining sugar. Then melt the butter. Add everything (including the chocolate chips) to the pre-dough and knead well, ideally by hand. Cover and let the dough rise for 40 minutes. Then turn the dough out onto a floured work surface, sprinkle with a little flour and knead again. Shape the dough into a ball and divide it into eighths. Then shape the balls into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (keeping space between them). Brush them with egg yolk. Bake at 170°C for about 20 minutes.
