Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 1 packet of baking soda (small packet) or 1 heaped teaspoon
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • some water
  • Sugar sprinkles, colorful

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Beat the eggs, sugar, and butter/margarine with a mixer. Then stir in the sour cream. Combine the flour, baking soda, and cocoa powder and stir in. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the batter on it, and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 20-25 minutes. Test with a toothpick if it’s cooked through. Once the cake has completely cooled, make the icing. Put the powdered sugar in a bowl, add a spoonful of water, and stir vigorously until a thick batter forms. Spread this over the cake, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles, and let it dry.
