Chocolate Snack

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g chocolate coating, whole milk (you can also use leftovers)
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating
  • 200 g peanut butter or more
  • 125 g butter
  • 500 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pack of cornflakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

I got the recipe from a friend who is currently working as an au pair in the USA. You need a large, clean paper bag (carrying bag). Put the chocolate, peanut butter, and butter in a large bowl and heat in the microwave for 4 minutes until the ingredients are melted. Then mix well and let cool slightly. Then carefully stir in the cornflakes so the flakes don’t break (you’d think there wouldn’t be enough chocolate and they’d never stick together, but that’s deceptive). Then pour the mixture into the large paper bag and sprinkle the powdered sugar over them. Fold the top of the paper bag once so nothing falls out, because now you’ll be shaking it vigorously. The shaking causes the flakes to close together and be coated in the chocolate, and the powdered sugar prevents anything from sticking together (no chocolate even sticks to the bag). Then pour the whole thing back into a bowl and put it in the fridge to harden.
