Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 20 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g dark chocolate coating, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 65 g sugar
  • 50 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 20 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 strudel sheets
  • 1 egg(s) for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Separate the eggs. Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then add the egg yolks and melted chocolate coating. Fold in the nuts and breadcrumbs. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually incorporating the sugar and folding them into the chocolate mixture. Brush the strudel dough with beaten egg, spread the chocolate mixture on top, and roll it up. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. Serve with whipped cream and/or apple compote.
